The Ceremony of Fourth Wu Yuanwei HVAC Award was held in 20th National Academic Conference on Heating, Ventilation, Air-conditioning & Refrigeration, 2016. The host was Prof. Wu Desheng, the managing director of China Committee of Heating, Ventilation and Air-condtioning (CCHAVC) and the consultant chief engineer of Beijing Institute of Architecture Design.

Prof. Wu Yuanwei has worked on HVAC research for more than 50 years and led CCHVAC for 23 years. He is dedicated to HVAC career and made significant contribution to establish the platform for technology communication and cooperation with international academic organization. He is the academic leader in the field of HVAC and is honored as the leader of HVAC industry and also a good teacher and friend.

For enhancing Prof. Wu Yuanwei’s spirit of hard working and dedication, CCHVAC set up Wu Yuanwei HVAC Award in 2010 to commend those scientific and technical workers who made contribution to HVAC field for improving the technical development.

In 2016, Wu Yuanwei HVAC Award goes to Mr. Fang Guochang, the consultant chief engineer of Hebei Institute of Architectural Design & Research Co., Ltd. And Prof. Shen Henggen, the professor of Donghua University.
