“The First REHVA World Student Competition” was held in Aalborg, Denmark on the afternoon May 24, 2016 during CLIMA 2016. The competition of is jointly sponsored by Federation of European Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning Association (REHVA) in cooperation with American Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), China Committee of Heating, Ventiltaion and Air-conditioning (CCHVAC), the Society of Heating, Air-conditioning and Sanitay Engineers of Japan (SHASE), the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), The Society of Air-conditioning and Refrigerating Engineers of Korea (SAREK). The first global HVAC student science and technology competition, is the highest Olympic event for global HVAC students in the field of science and technology innovation.

 Ms. Tian YOU, a Tsinghua University student as Chinese delegate participated in the competition. 6 delegates nominated by above institutes attended the final competition. According to their own scientific research presentation, the jury scored and ranked by 10 score criterion. Prof Wei XU, the chairman of CCHVAC was one of the jury. Finally, due to careful preparation and outstanding performance, Ms. Tian YOU won the third place of the First REHVA World Student Competition.
