Recently, a CAHVAC delegation consisting of more than ten representatives from institutions such as China Academy of Building Research Co., Ltd., Tsinghua University, Tianjin University, Chongqing University, Ecored, and Sunflare, went to Europe to participate in the 15th REHVA World Congress on Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
The 15th REHVA World Congress on Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (CLIMA 2025) was held at Politecnico di Milano in Italy, attracting 850 representatives from 43 countries and regions, as well as 7 international academic societies/associations/federation partners and 41 international organizations and media. During the conference, Chairman Xu Wei and Professor Livio Mazzarella, President of the European Federation of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Associations (REHVA), exchanged views on technical standards and market cooperation in the fields of heating, ventilation and air conditioning, zero-carbon buildings, and zero-carbon parks in China, Europe and Italy.
After the conference, the members of the CAHVAC delegation went to Weissenwasser, Germany, to conduct an on-site inspection of the headquarters of Menred Germany. Mr. Chen Linan, the founder of the group, gave a detailed introduction to the company's business overview in Germany and the application of the five-constant system in the European market. Through this inspection and exchange activity, the delegation gained a detailed understanding of the development of Chinese HVAC enterprises in the international market, which has guiding significance for more Chinese enterprises to go global.
In Barcelona, Spain, the delegation visited the headquarters of the world-renowned Soler & Palau Ventilation Group. Juan Lecue, General Manager for Europe, and Francisco Menendez, Business Development Manager, had in-depth exchanges and discussions with the delegation on the market application and R&D direction of Heat Recovery Ventilation (HRV) systems. This visit further deepened the mutual understanding between the two parties and laid the foundation for future cooperation.
At the headquarters of the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Association (ATECYR) in Madrid, Spain, President Julio Cano and Technical Committee Chairman Pedro Vicente Quiles received the delegation. The two parties introduced their main ongoing work and had in-depth exchanges on future cooperation in the fields of standardization, technical guidance and talent training. This visit deepened the friendly relations between the two parties and opened up new opportunities for future cooperation.
